Schongauer Märchen und Tierpark

In the Upper Bavarian district of Weilheim-Schongau, about 18 km south of Landsberg am Lech and about 27 km east of Marktoberdorf, you will find the Schongau Fairytale Forest and Animal Park, which opened in 1965. On the family-friendly and barrier-free circular route through the park, you will pass 14 fairy tales from the well-known children's and house fairy tale collection of the Brothers Grimm, a railway, the adventure forest, a cable car, the children's car scooter, mini excavators and various playgrounds for young and old. In the animal park area, a variety of domestic and exotic animals such as goats, sheep, nandus, parrots, porcupines and many other animals await. Of course, there is also a culinary offer, so the Hexenküche snack bar and the restaurant are waiting here to offer you delicious Bavarian dishes and snacks. The Schongau Fairytale Forest and Zoo is therefore an ideal destination for a day out for the whole family.
