The “Mine Train Coaster” is the perfect experience for the whole family, skillfully blending nostalgia with modern thrill rides. Once you’ve taken your seats in the rustic wooden cars, quiet friction wheels rapidly catapult you up the 18-meter-high lift hill. Once at the top, there’s no stopping: The train plunges into a deep valley and races through a landscape of rustic steampunk pillars and old mining machinery at 65 km/h. The ride winds its way around the course through a series of tight, low-to-the-ground curves and rapid spirals (helices). Because the trains are so long and agile, the speed picks up noticeably toward the back of the train.
