Pacific Park®

In 1957, Pacific Park® first opened in Santa Monica, California, closed in 1967 and reopened in 1974. Around 40 metres above the Pacific Ocean, it is the only amusement park on a pier on the West Coast. Located on the world-famous Santa Monica Pier, it is a gathering place for the whole family, with a dozen exciting rides making their home here on some 2 hectares, including the first solar-powered Ferris wheel, the iconic wheel overlooking the pier and surrounding beaches, and a roller coaster. The park is run on the Tivoli principle, which means that entry to the park is free and visitors can buy a separate ticket for each attraction.
