Magic Park Verden

Verden is located in Verden an der Aller in Lower Saxony, about 45 km southeast of Bremen and about 95 km northwest of Hannover. It offers families a great mix of fairy tales, playgrounds and various rides. In addition to a family roller coaster, a wild water ride, a swing boat, a chairoplane or a vintage car ride, you will also find a wide variety of children's rides. Particularly noteworthy is the themed ride ‘Dragon Magic’, a dark ride that was built in-house and whose story can even be experienced in Low German. The ride system and the chaises for this come from the former dark ride of the Film Studios. The fairy tales, some of which date back to the early days of the former Märchenpark Verden, are still a highlight for visitors of all ages. In its more than 50-year history, the park has had various tenants and names. What began in 1971 as Märchenpark Verden became Freizeitpark Verden in 2002 under the new owner family Sepe, who are certainly known to many thanks to the in Hodenhagen. In the further course, the Verden amusement park became the Ritter-Rost-Magic Park thanks to a long-term cooperation with the rights holder Carlsen Verlag. In 2025, the Sepe family sold the park to the new owners Bastian Lampe and Tom Becker, who now run the park as Verden and want to continue to immerse visitors in a magical world.
