Once upon a time ... SLEEPING BEAUTY

A beautiful daughter was born to a wise king. For the pleasure of it
he made his subjects a big celebration. Also twelve wise women are invited.
The thirteenth wise woman was not invited to the Baptism of the newborn princess for lack of crockery.
She proves the girl with a curse that she will on his fifteenth birthday
sting on a spindle and die from it. One of the twelve remaining
Fairies who were allowed to attend the festival converts the killing curse into
a hundred years sleep, whereupon the king burned all spindles in the Kingdom.

At the girl's fifteenth birthday, it explores a tower room in which there is an old woman at
spinning. The princess wants to try it too and sticks with the spindle in the finger.
It fall with the entire court in a deep sleep.
The castle will be surrounding with one impenetrable thorn hedge, that will transform after one hundred years in roses.
Only on this day a prince reach the tower, where he kisses the princess, whereupon the
sleep of the court is over. Sleeping Beauty and the prince marry.
