Emirates Park and Zoo Resort

Just 20 kilometres north of Abu Dhabi Airport is Emirates Park and Zoo Resort. It was opened in 2008 as the first privately run zoo in the United Arab Emirates. It houses around one and a half thousand animals of various species: from birds and reptiles to wild cats and herbivores. Indian elephants can be found here as well as camels and zebras. Those who want to experience real unique adventures are invited to feed hippos, giraffes or baby goats. Lions, tigers and panthers are also present, but visitors have the unique opportunity to have breakfast face to face with a leopard - separated only by a pane of glass. Or you can have breakfast together with giraffes or parrots. Numerous moments that you will never forget accumulate here at the zoo.
