Wet'n'Wild Hawaii

Five and a half hours by plane from Los Angeles (alternatively, you could row a good 4,100 kilometres), the Hawaiian archipelago lies in the middle of the northern Pacific Ocean. Wet'n'Wild Hawaii, part of the Premier Parks, LLC group, is located on the northernmost island of O'Ahu (where the capital Honululu is also located). The park was officially opened on 28 May 1999 under the name Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park and now covers an area of 120,000 m². The renaming to Wet'n'Wild Hawaii took place 10 years later in 2009. In 2014, the park was taken over by its current operator. Wet'n'Wild Hawaii is one of the 10 most visited family attractions on Oahu and was voted "Best Family Attraction" by Best of Honolulu magazine. The water park is also open all year round, but only at weekends during the "winter" months.
