Valleyfair & Soak City

In 1975, a combination amusement park and water park opened in Shakopee, Minnesota, about 40 kilometers south of its most populous city, Minneapolis. Valleyfair is one of the medium-sized amusement parks in the United States of America. On an area of 51 hectares you will find more than 50 different rides and water park attractions. There are different types of rides with different strong adrenaline levels for all age groups. Of course you will find beautifully designed carousels, or a truck convoy for the youngest visitors, chain carousel, kite flyer or a scrambler for guests who want medium-powered rides up to a free fall tower, different roller coasters or a huge swing. In the water park, which is also open in the summer months, visitors will find a similar division: here, too, it starts with water playgrounds and ends with freefall slides.

The park is operated by the Cedar Fair Entertainment Group, which also operates , Canada's Wonderworld or .
