About the Park
Volcano Bay takes its name from the 61 meter high artificial volcano that was erected in the middle of the park.
The park itself is still quite young and was not officially opened until 2017. At 11 hectares, it is a medium-sized park and was the first park to be planned and built directly by Universal.
The Krakatau, as the volcano is called, is the main symbol of the park. The volcano serves as the starting point for 4 slides, one of which holds the record for America's highest body slide. If you are in the vicinity, a visit is a must!
