About the Park

Darien Lake started as a camping site in 1964 and through a deal with HUSS Park Attractions it became the North American exhibition area of the original German attraction manufacturer. In 1983 the park was sold to Funtime Inc. and joined Premier Parks in 1995, which was then renamed Six Flags.

With around 45 attractions, 8 roller coasters and 10 water attractions, the park on 490 hectares offers a large audience a lot of fun near the three large lakes.
