About the Park
Ripley's Mountain Coaster is located in the mountain village of Gatlinburg in the east of the US state of Tennessee, at the foot of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Operated as Rowdy Bear Coaster from 2017 to 2022 and renamed Ripley's Mountain Coaster in 2022, the 640-metre-long Alpine Coaster from Josef Wiegand GmbH & Co. KG from Germany already promises lots of fun. Guests aged 3 years and over and 0.97 metres tall can already share this experience with their parents on one of the toboggans. Ripley's Mountain Coaster is open all year round, depending on the weather, and offers 12 hours of fun every day in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
