Rapids Water Park

Riviera Beach is located around 120 kilometres north of Miami in Florida. Rapids was first opened there in 1979 on an area of 4 hectares with just four water slides. The park has since grown to 30 hectares and is now home to more than 40 slides as well as many other attractions, such as a wave pool with waves up to six feet high, two seven-storey speed slides and a 400 metre long lazy river. There are also special slides for children and toddlers. In 2009, the park expanded by 2.2 hectares to the north of the existing site and has been operated by Premier Parks, LLC since 2012.
