About the Park
In the mountain village of Gatlinburg in the east of the US state of Tennessee beneath the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, you will find the Moonshine Mountain Coaster. Operated as the Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster from 2014 to 2021 and renamed the Moonshine Mountain Coaster in 2022, the 762-metre-long alpine coaster from Josef Wiegand GmbH & Co. KG from Germany promises guests aged 3 years and over and 0.96 metres lots of fun. You can experience your ride on the Moonshine Mountain Coaster all year round and, thanks to the speed lever, you can determine your own speed on the descent.
