Michigan´s Adventure & WildWater Adventure

In the US state of Michigan, more precisely in Muskegon County, today's Michigans Adventure amusement park was first opened in 1956 as Deer Park. After another change of ownership, it was opened as Deer Park from 1972 to 1987. In 2001, the Cedar Fair Group bought the park and operates it under the name Michigans Adventure. With more than 1 million visitors per year and over 37 rides on an area of 250 hectares, it is the largest amusement park in the state of Michigan. The park's main attractions include the suspended roller coaster Thunderhawk and the wooden roller coaster Shivering Timbers, but Michigan's Adventure also has a lot to offer for families and small children. The themed area around the world of the PEANUTS™ has many rides to offer, from the Mini Free-Fall Tower to classic carousels and the Jump Arround. To cool off from the hot Michigan sun, the WildWater Adventure Park has been waiting for you with countless slides, wave pools and playgrounds since 1990.
