Luna Park Coney Island

Coney Island is on the one hand a peninsula and on the other a district in the south of the borough of Brooklyn in New York City. And anyone who talks about Coney Island often falls into reverie in view of its history, because this is where the largest continuous amusement park in the world was built until the Second World War. "Gravity Pleasure Switch Back Railway" was inaugurated here on Coney Island as America's first roller coaster in 1884, and the first roller coaster in its namesake form opened in 1898. As a real park, everything began here in 1895 with a water circus with sea lions and the "Shoot-the-Chutes" whitewater ride. Over the years, Coney Island changed constantly: there were several parks at the same time that were built according to the Tivoli principle. Admission was free for visitors and each attraction could be paid for individually. Thus, in more than 125 years, a "Steeplechase Park", "Dreamland", "Astroland" and most recently "Lunapark" and "Deno's Wonder Wheel Amusement Park" (with the famous Wonder Wheel) were also located here.

In addition to the organised rides, there is the special feature here that individual rides are run by individual operators,
