About the Park
On 4.7.1926, Knoebels Groves, the forerunner of today's Knoebels Amusement Resort, opened in Elysburg, Pennsylvania. A steam-powered carousel and the Chrystal Pool were two of the first attractions in the amusement park. On an area of around 45ha, the park presents its visitors with over 60 attractions suitable for the whole family, according to a statement: Starting with several wooden roller coasters, well-known flat rides to slow, hand-operated hand cars for children, everyone from the family can discover suitable attractions for themselves here. In addition to a water park section and a mini-golf course, there are other resort sections available for visitors to use. The special feature of Knoebels is that the attractions can be paid for individually.
