Kalahari Resorts & Conventions Poconos

In the north-east of the US state of Pennsylvania, you will find Kalahari Resorts & Conventions Poconos, which was built in July 2015 in the middle of the forest. Named after the Kalahari Desert in Southern Africa, the resort is decorated with statues of African animals, plants and various African motifs and accessories. Located approximately 2 miles (3.22 km) from Interstate 380, the huge resort grounds include the convention centre, where state and regional organisations regularly hold their conventions, a shopping mall, a hotel complex with 977 rooms, fourteen restaurants, the 20,000 square metre indoor water park and the 21,000 square metre outdoor water park. The water park at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions Poconos is one of the largest in America due to its size and the large number of water slides, pools and spa facilities. In the 3700 square metre entertainment centre on the resort grounds, you will also find classic amusement arcades and a virtual reality gaming arena. If you're looking for a more sporty approach, the resort's fitness rooms or the Gorilla Grove Treetop Adventures adventure park are sure to have something for you. Depending on the time of year, you can go fishing, ice and cross-country skiing, mini golfing, explore the climbing park or play a round of laser tag.

The Kalahari Resorts & Conventions chain operates several resorts with water parks in the United States. You can find other locations in Wisconsin Dells, in the state of Wisconsin, in Sandusky, in the state of Ohio and in Round Rock in Texas.
