About the Park
The water park was built and opened back in 1984. At that time still under the name Magic Waters. Since 2019, the park is operated by Six Flags, although Rockford Park District is still the owner. Since that date, the park is also called Hurricane Harbor Rockford and now covers 17ha. 3 pools and 12 water slides offer a great variety for visitors. The park also offers special features that you can not find in the other parks of the group. For example a 45° looping slide, or Tidal Wave a very special tire slide with fast curves.
If you are in the area, it is a must for every water park fan to come here for a day and enjoy the slides!
