About the Park

Disney's second water park at the Walt Disney World Resort opened its doors on 1 June 1989. Main attraction and central point of the park is one of the largest wave pools in the world. In addition to the usual wave programs, a giant wave is generated there every 90 seconds. The theming reminds of a tropical island. The landmark is Miss Tilly, a fishing boat stranded on the top of a mountain.
