About the Park
was opened on April 22, 1998 and is the fourth theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort. It is the largest Disney theme park in the world. Its landmark is the Tree of Life, a gigantic artificial tree whose trunk is made up of numerous animals. After the opening numerous areas were added. The artificial mountain built for the roller coaster Expedition Everest is considered one of the highest "mountains" in Florida.
