Description
Cedar Creek Mine Ride not only sends the occupants up hills, through tunnels and over water. No, it also transports people back in time, all the way to the Wild West. Take a seat in the speeding mining car, straight out of the 19th century boomtowns, and hold on to your hat as the term gold rush is given new meaning. When it opened in 1969, it was the centrepiece of Frontier Town. Riders start by driving through the mine building before climbing one of two hills that then send the car down through curves and the first drop over the lagoon. Before the ride comes to an end, the cart goes through a double helix that brings the cart back to its humble home.
