Brush Creek Holl’r Mountain Coaster

The Brush Creek Holl'r Mountain Coaster is located in Princeton, West Virginia, right next to the Brush Creek Falls Resort in Mercer County. This spectacular summer and winter attraction is close to Interstate 77, making it easily accessible for tourists and locals alike. The mountain coaster opened in summer 2025 and is a special first: It is the first alpine coaster in the state of West Virginia.

The track was built by the renowned Josef Wiegand GmbH & Co. KG, a German manufacturer known worldwide for its high-quality and weatherproof alpine coasters. Wiegand coasters are designed to operate all year round – regardless of whether it is sunny, rainy or snowy. The Brush Creek Holl'r is therefore open all year round and offers an unforgettable ride experience in every season.

With an impressive total length of approximately 3,400 feet (around 1,037 metres), the track winds its way through the wooded hills surrounding the resort. It climbs to a height of around 200 feet (approx. 61 metres). The track features numerous curves, spirals and slopes and runs through the heart of nature – a special highlight are the themed elements that recall the region's mining history.

The sleds are equipped with modern safety systems such as automatic brakes, double seat belts and hand brakes for individual speed control. This allows passengers to decide for themselves whether they prefer to glide leisurely through the landscape or race down the track at up to 30 miles per hour (approx. 48 km/h).
