In the heart of the Polynesian-themed area, “Makamanu Jungle – The Adventure Trek” awaits visitors to PortAventura Park as a spectacular open-air attraction. The name of this attraction is derived from South Pacific mythology and translates to “The Bird’s Eye View.” Guests experience precisely this unique perspective on the 135-meter-long adventure trail, which has been spectacularly constructed high above an old volcanic quarry in the lush, tropical treetops. The interactive trail connects the dusty Western town of “Far West” with the exotic oasis of “Polynesia” in a completely new way and invites the whole family on a journey of discovery. Along the way through the dense greenery, a total of 18 meticulously designed treehouse huts invite visitors to explore and linger. These stations are connected by a network of 20 suspended rope tunnels, wobbly suspension bridges, and secret paths that require coordination and dexterity. At the end of the jungle trek, three net ladders and four thrilling slides ensure an action-packed descent back to the forest floor.
