Palma Aquarium

Palma Aquarium has been located in Palma, the capital of the Balearic island of Mallorca and only around 10 minutes by car from Palma de Mallorca Airport, since 2003. The Palma Aquarium is both an aquarium and an adventure park and offers insights into the marine habitats of the Mediterranean, Indian Ocean, Pacific and Atlantic. A total of 55 tanks with a total volume of over 5 million litres of water are home to around 8000 specimens of over 700 marine animal species. For example, various sharks can be observed in the "Big Blue", the deepest shark tank in Europe at 8.5 metres. Rays, sea turtles, clownfish, corals and seahorses can also be admired in the aquariums. In the Aquadome, a 4D experience with a 250 square metre dome as a screen, you embark on an incredible journey with the humpback whales, which is not to be missed. Or the "Shark Vision Boat", a boat with a transparent floor in a shark tank. Various restaurants at Palma Aquarium cater for your culinary needs. The Palma Aquarium is open daily and takes you into the magical underwater world.
