About the Park
The Oasis Wildlife Fuerteventura Zoo has been located in La Lajita in the south of Fuerteventura since 1985. What began as a nursery and camel farm has developed into a large zoo where you can see hippos, giraffes, zebras, crocodiles and African elephants, among others. Today, the privately run Oasis Wildlife Fuerteventura is home to around 3,000 animals, 400 camels, with which you can even go on a camel safari, and over 8,000 palm trees. In the various animal shows, you can observe sea lions and birds up close and be amazed by them. Oasis Wildlife Fuerteventura is open all year round from Tuesday to Sunday and is a popular excursion destination on the Canary Island.
