About the Park
Around 22 kilometres north-east of Mallorca's capital Palma lies the Natura Parc animal park in Santa Eugénia, which has been in existence since 1998. Around 400 native and exotic animal species such as raccoons, lemurs, porcupines, vultures, parrots, canaries, owls, swans, flamingos, cranes, turtles, ducks, goats, donkeys and various species of butterflies live here on an area of around 33,000 square metres. A highlight for children is certainly the Toca Toca petting zoo with goats, sheep, calves and rabbits. The Natura Parc has set itself the goal of sensitising locals and tourists to the conservation of Mallorca's unique flora and fauna. The Natura Parc is open all year round and is a popular excursion destination not only for tourists, but also for many Mallorcans.
