About the Park
The Zoo de Servion is a small zoo with 5.5ha, but is considered the largest zoo in western Switzerland and is only 12 km north-east of Lausanne and Lake Geneva. The zoo in Servion opened in 1974 and is home to a relatively small number of around 200 animals with around 60 species. In addition to the valuable and good breeding successes of the Amur tiger and the binturong, visitors will find areas for monkeys such as marmosets or cotton-top tamarins on their tour of the zoo. Adjacent to the site is a tropiquarium for tropical ornithology (birds) and herpetology (amphibians and reptiles).
