Tropiquarium de Servion

In the Swiss canton of Vaud, or rather in Servion, around 4 km from Oron-la-Ville and around 13 kilometres north-east of Lausanne, you will find the Tropiquarium de Servion, which has been open since 1979. Covering an area of around two hectares, the Tropiquarium de Servion is home to a diverse and colourful animal and plant world, with around 400 animals from 90 species. What makes the Tropiquarium so special is that the entire facility has been designed so that guests young and old can get as close to the animals as possible and the animals live in habitats that are as natural as possible. In addition to various snakes, birds, lizards, fish and frogs, you will also find the only pair of Komodo dragons in Switzerland and the albino Galapagos giant tortoise Lune. The Tropiquarium de Servion is open all year round and is a worthwhile excursion destination for all animal lovers young and old.
