Erlenbach (CH) - Erlibacher Chilbi

The Erlibacher Chilbi is the big folk festival in the municipality of Erlenbach on Lake Zurich. It traditionally takes place on the first weekend in September and lasts from Saturday to Monday.

The festival transforms the village centre into a lively fairground with a selection of rides, game stalls and traditional festival restaurants. The Chilbi is an important meeting place for the local population and is organised in collaboration with local associations. It offers live music, culinary specialities such as Magenbrot (spiced bread) and grilled sausages, as well as a varied programme for young and old. Due to the event, the village centre is closed to traffic. Visitors are therefore advised to use public transport.
