About the Park
In Arosa, the well-known skiing and hiking region in the Swiss canton of Graubünden, Arosa Bärenland has been open since 2018. Once you have reached section 1 at 2000 metres above sea level from Arosa on foot or by taking the Arosa-Weisshorn cable car, the Arosa Bear Sanctuary awaits you with its animals, adventure trail, bear mini-golf course and bear school playground. The bears on display here were all rescued from poor conditions by the global animal welfare organisation FOUR PAWS and can now relearn their natural behaviour and be kept in a species-appropriate environment in the natural mountain landscape. The Arosa Bear Sanctuary is usually open from mid-May to mid-October and is looking forward to your visit.
