The Aquabasilea water and wellness world has been located in Pratteln in the canton of Basel-Landschaft, around 14 kilometres south-east of Basel, since 2010. With a total area of 13,000 square metres, including 2,160 square metres of water with a volume of 2,241 cubic metres, Aquabasilea is the largest adventure pool in Switzerland. In addition to the wild water stream, toddler pool, wave pool, aqua gym pool, pool bar and regeneration pool, there is also a water playground and seven water slides. Those who prefer wellness can relax and be pampered in the hammam, the eight saunas, the brine grotto, the two steam baths or with a massage. The Aquabasilea offers a self-service restaurant, the pool bar or the à la carte sauna restaurant. The Aquabasilea is open daily and promises a great day out for all young and old water rats, sauna and wellness fans.
