About the Park
Located in the heart of Lisbon is Europe’s largest indoor aquarium. What makes the building unique is that it stands in a large water basin and is completely surrounded by the waters of the Tagus River. Around a large central aquarium, many other animals are displayed in additional tanks spread across two floors. In the four corners of the building, visitors can also explore themed exhibitions. In 2011, the aquarium was expanded to include an additional building and a connecting bridge.
