About the Park
In 1954, the Gdansk Zoo, Gdańsk in Polish, was founded. The facility is world-famous for breeding large condors, as they regularly give birth to offspring. Poland's largest zoo covers a total area of 125ha and in terms of visitor numbers it is also one of the most visited zoos in Poland, with more than half a million visitors. With reptiles, birds and mammals, the facility brings over 150 species of animals closer to its guests.
You'll find lions and Shetland ponies (though not together in one enclosure) and pygmy hippos here, as well as island gibbons, moose and wolves in separate enclosures, and flamingos.
The offer is supplemented by a petting zoo, a climbing park and a visitor bus.
