Description
Wiener Hochschaubahn: a piece of roller coaster history! It is one of the last old buildings in Vienna's Prater, whose design and characteristics have saved a piece of the past into the present day. The journey goes through an Alpine landscape with many tunnels and a unique charm. Always on board: a brakeman who regulates the speed.
History:
- 1909-1944: There was already a view railway at the same place, but it was destroyed in World War II
- 1950: Opening of a new building called "Alpenbahn"
- Since 1951: "Wiener Hochschaubahn"
