About the Park
In Elbigenalp in Austria, a municipality in the district of Reutte in Tyrol, around 80 kilometres from Obersdorf in Germany, you will find the Brandauer Alpine Coaster Wally Blitz, which has been operated by Armin Knittel since 2014. This single-rail coaster, which is around 1.6 kilometres long and is also the steepest ride in the Alps with a maximum gradient of 75 percent, can be ridden independently by visitors aged 7 and over or by 2 to 6-year-olds accompanied by an adult. Thanks to its possible top speed of up to 42 km/h, the Wally Blitz promises a speedy ride. Of course, in addition to the Alpine Coaster, you will also find a range of food and drink at the snack bar and café here in Elbigenalp.
Please note:
The Alpine Coaster is open seasonally, but there may be closures and cancellations due to weather conditions. Please check the current opening times directly with the operator before travelling.
