About the Park
The Turracherhöhe awaits you in the inner-Austrian border region between the provinces of Styria and Carinthia, very close to the Gurktaler Alps, about 33 kilometres north of Villach as the crow flies. In addition to wonderful alpine pastures, you will find Europe's largest contiguous Swiss stone pine forests and mountain lakes up to an altitude of well over 2,000 metres. Of course, since 2007 you have been able to ride the Nocky Flitzer Alpine Coaster up here, with a total length of 1.6 kilometres through the stone pine forest. On your impressive and spectacular descent, you will experience gyroscopes, wave tracks and jumps as well as a mountain adventure world.
