About the Park

In the Upper Austrian capital Linz, or rather in its district Urfahr, the nine-day Urfahranermarkt, also known colloquially as Urfahr-Markt or Urfix, takes place twice a year. The Urfahranermarkt in spring always begins on the last Saturday in April and the one in autumn always starts on the last Saturday in September. In addition to the large tents, where you can listen to live music every day and party hearty, you will find a trade show at every Urfahranermarkt as well as the carnies with their interesting rides, sweets and snack stalls for young and old. In addition to the family day, which traditionally takes place on Wednesdays, you can marvel at the big brilliant fireworks on Fridays.
