- When SpeedMonster was announced, the layout still had 2 consecutive corkscrew loops. This was changed and the first became a Twisted Hill
- SpeedMonster is known for the legendary TV documentary about the construction with quotes such as: "Crane spaces must be compacted!" by Ronny Schäfer (RCS employee)
