Wintertijd is the largest annual winter event in the Parkstad region of the Netherlands, transforming the center of , particularly Pancratiusplein and De Bongerd, into a festive winter wonderland. The event, which usually takes place from mid-December to early January, offers visitors of all ages a wealth of winter attractions and activities. Highlights include a covered ice rink, a fast-paced ice slide, a curling rink, and Magic Winter Golf. The program is complemented by a festively lit spiegeltent, a winter café serving food and hot drinks, live music, and various side events that create a warm and convivial atmosphere. The entire city center is decorated in a festive manner, making Wintertijd a central meeting place to celebrate the Christmas season together.
