About the Park
The Dolfinarium in Harderwijk was opened in 1965 and is now the largest and most visited park with marine animals in Europe. The animals are kept in exemplary conditions, the tanks are species-appropriate and the outdoor enclosures are very large. Many shows take place throughout the day, so if you want to see them all, you should take the show schedule when you enter the park and plan accordingly. At the back of the Dolfinarium there is access to the beach, where you can withdraw and relax for a while.
For water fans there is also "Waterpret", a large water playground with various slides for young and old. There is also a nice sunbathing lawn to relax on.
Hints:
The park operates a dolphinarium. This way of keeping marine mammals is considered controversial and is banned in some countries. For reasons of objectivity, we list this park in the app. Please decide for yourself whether you want to visit this park.
