About the Park
DierenPark Amersfoort is located northeast of Utrecht in the Netherlands in the medium-sized Dutch city of Amersfoort. Since 1948, the zoo has been home to a large number of exotic animal species on 20 hectares. Divided into the areas De Savanne / Die Sawanne (Giraffes), Japanse tuin / Japanese Garden (Koi Karpen), De Stad der Oudheid / City of Antiquity (Griffon Vulture), De Nacht / Die Nacht (Sloth), Het Rijk der Reuzen / Reich the giants (elephants), De grote Wildernis / The great wilderness and De Woud / The forest (badgers) there is also a dinosaur land.
