About the Park
Croatia's oldest zoo was first opened in Zagreb in 1924. Covering an area of around 7 hectares, the zoo is located in the middle of the Croatian capital and presents more than 250 different animal species to its visitors. Fish, birds and reptiles are exhibited here as well as amphibians, lemurs or leopards. Divided into different areas such as Madagascar, African Village or Australia, the animals are kept here in enclosures suitable for them.
