About the Park
Less than 5 km from the Croatian water park Porec is the Dinopark Funtana. It was opened in 2009 and is also located on the Adriatic Sea on the Croatian peninsula of Istria. In a natural area with impressive rocky gorges and lush forests, visitors can enjoy numerous activities for a day trip on an area of more than 8.5 hectares. The park is regularly expanded and began as a pure dinosaur park. In the meantime, there are 80 prehistoric giants in original size in the park and several, partly unique, rides and even a roller coaster extend the offer. A highlight is the DINO DOME, a large arena where live shows are shown daily.
On a circular route of 1.5 km through the Gondwana or Pangaea areas, the dinos can even be brought to life at the touch of a button.
