Wet'n'Wild Toronto

With a population of almost three million, Toronto is Canada's largest city and the capital of the province of Ontario. The Wet'n'Wild Toronto water park is located in Brampton, 34 kilometres from Toronto and just 9 kilometres from the airport. The park opened in 1986 as Sunshine Beach and was later renamed Wild Water Kingdom. When the water park was taken over by the operator group Premier Parks, LLC in July 2016, it was renamed again as Wet'n'Wild Toronto to better fit in with its sister parks. With the new orientation, the focus on families was strengthened, so that the park has its target group firmly in mind compared to its major competitors (Splash Works in Canada's Wonderland).
