Parco Pitagora

In northwestern Tuscany, 9 km from the Ligurian Sea and about 80 km from Florence, in the small town of Lido Di Camaiore lies the Parco Pitagora amusement park. This rather small park, unlike most other amusement parks in Italy, offers fun and games all year round. On the 15,000 square metre site, which was opened in 1997 by Cinzia and Massimo Colligiani, there are rides such as a roller coaster, bumper boats, a children's carousel and a children's railway, as well as various ball sports fields, playgrounds, bouncy castles and the Pala Pitagora indoor playground. Throughout the year, the various stages in Parco Pitagora host special events such as the famous "Cantascuola", a singing competition for children, lectures, painting competitions, comedy events and puppet shows. It is also worth mentioning that Parco Pitagora has its own currency, the Pitagorino, which is used to pay for the rides. The park offers a wide range of activities that are sure to please young and old alike.
