About the Park
In Scotland's capital Edinburgh, or rather in the street Am Market Place 31 not far from Edinburgh Waverley railway station, you will find the Edinburgh Dungeon since 2000. In the approximately 70-minute interactive tour, 1000 years of Scottish history are brought to life before your eyes. The Edinburgh Dungeon is an exciting combination of a chamber of horrors, a history lesson with scary moments and a ride attraction. As you tour the 10 stations, professional actors re-enact scenes from Scotland's grim past. You'll meet the murderous couple Burke and Hare, the cannibal Sawney Bean and the legendary witch Agne Finnie, immersing you in the time of torture chambers, witch hunts and the plague. A visit to the Edinburgh Dungeon is recommended for children aged 10 and over.
