Blair Drummond Safari & Adventure Park

Blair Drummond Safari & Adventure Park has been located in Blair Drummond, Scotland, around 44 miles (approx. 71 km) north-west of Edinburgh, since 1970. On the park's 49-hectare site, you can go on safari in your own closed vehicle and observe the animals at close quarters. The animals are able to move freely around the park, which is divided into sections, and can come right up to the vehicles. For safety reasons, it is therefore not permitted to leave the vehicles and the windows must remain closed at all times. Around 300 animals such as Amur tigers, lions, elephants, alpacas, camels, bison, monkeys, birds and zebras live here. After a tour, you can marvel at other enclosures and animals on foot or visit the sea lion or bird of prey show, for example. Fun and games are also on offer in the amusement area at Blair Drummond Safari & Adventure Park. Here you will find zip lines, playgrounds, a petting zoo, the dinosaur exhibition and rides such as the pedal boats, the wave slide and the Dragon Coaster children's rollercoaster. Blair Drummond Safari & Adventure Park is usually open seasonally from mid-March to the end of December and is a great destination just outside Edinburgh and Glasgow.
