Blackpool Central Pier

In the north-west of England, in the county of Lancashire, you will find the coastal town of and the Central Pier, one of the town's three piers, right on the Irish Sea. Near the disused Central railway station, about 550 metres south of Tower, you will find the Central Pier, built in 1868, with a length of almost 340 metres, several bars, a dance hall, amusement arcades and eleven different rides for young and old. Whether it's Helter skelter, bumper cars, windshield wipers, carousels or the world-famous 33-metre-high Ferris wheel, fun is guaranteed here. Central Pier is owned by The Pier Company, as are the other two piers, North Pier and South Pier. There is no general admission charge to the piers, but tickets can be purchased for the rides, which can then be redeemed at the rides. Take advantage of the savings offers at the piers.
