Saint-Germain-en-Laye (F) - La Fête des Loges

The Fête des Loges is a traditional funfair that takes place every summer in the heart of the historic forest of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, near Paris. The festival has a history stretching back centuries and is one of the oldest and largest funfairs in France. Visitors will find a colourful mix of modern high-tech rides, roller coasters and classic carousels for the whole family. A special feature of the fair is the famous food street, where freshly prepared specialities such as suckling pig on a spit and other traditional dishes are served. Entry to the fairground is free for all visitors, so you only pay to use the individual rides and games. It is easy to get there from central Paris by public transport, which runs directly to the vicinity of the woodland site.
