About the Park
In the south of France, more precisely in Fréjus, the Parc Zoologique de Fréjus – also known as Zoo Fréjus – has been located since 1971. The zoo is home to around 400 animals from over 110 species, including tigers, elephants, monkeys, reptiles and exotic birds.
Set in around 16 hectares of Mediterranean countryside, the zoo is actively involved in species conservation and the breeding of endangered animals. Visitors can expect spacious enclosures, a diverse range of plants, picnic areas, a snack area and special programmes for children.
The Fréjus Zoological Park is open all year round and is a worthwhile destination in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region – ideal for families and animal lovers.
